Waoku Lodge is unique; an exclusive venue with a remarkable tranquility and a wonderful romantic atmosphere. The location provides a perfect venue for smaller, more intimate weddings. After the ceremony guests can celebrate your union whilst enjoying the breathtaking views over the Tasman Sea at Whale Bay and marvel at the spectacular sunset over Indicator's Point.
Couples wanting an exclusive and elegant environment choose Waoku Lodge for their very personal ceremony and the renowned attention to detail at Waoku Lodge. No two weddings can be the same and we are able to work with you to tailor your wedding arrangements for your personal requirements and budget.
An additional benefit of holding your wedding at Waoku Lodge is that accommodation can be reserved for time before and after the wedding, allowing the bridal party to prepare in a relaxed, stress-free environment. When your day has ended, you are able retire to your apartment at a time of your own choosing.

Pre-wedding pampering at Waoku Lodge

For the ultimate in pampering Moana Day Spa offers pre-wedding spa treatments, facials and massage, ensuring a radiant and relaxed bridal party. And Waoku Lodge's luxury apartments provide the perfect venue for pre-wedding grooming.

For the traditionalists, we can arrange alternative accommodation for the groom, Best Man and any other members of the Groom's party for the night before the wedding; for the couple wishing for a less traditional approach, the Groom's group can join the bride and her party at Waoku = it's a personal choice.
During the day prior to the ceremony we will get everyone together for a rehearsal with the celebrant who will conduct your ceremony. This will help you feel comfortable and confident on the day, and help alleviate those wedding day nerves!
The 'day-before' draws to a close with pre-dinner drinks and canapés and the group enjoying a quiet evening in the exquisiteness of Waoku Lodge with dinner being served in the intimacy of the apartments.
A luxurious celebration

This is truly a grand celebration and designed for weddings with around 30 - 50 guests. You will have exclusive use of our lodge for two days and nights to give you the space and privacy to ensure your wedding day will be perfect.

The entire complex is yours, and your booking will include accommodation for up to ten people in three luxurious apartments, each with a private spa pool and magnificent panoramic views. Additional guests can be accommodated locally, and we'll take care of any extra bookings! And, we include a complimentary third night free in our bridal suite for the bride and groom with this complete wedding package.
Small is Beautiful
Smaller weddings are also popular for those who want a very personal ceremony in an exclusive and elegant environment with guest numbers below thirty people. We offer the flexibility for the full wedding experience you want. Your booking will include one, two or all three of our luxury apartment to give the bride the comfort of space and privacy to prepare for her grand entrance and a private space for the happy couple to retire to after the celebrations of the day.
Unless your booking for a small wedding includes all three of our apartments, we cannot provide exclusive use of our Lodge, but we will ensure your celebrations, including your ceremony and wedding feast, are not disturbed by other guests.

Should you decide to hold the ceremony and celebrations elsewhere, then Waoku Lodge is the idyllic place to spend your romantic honeymoon; our focus is on providing an intimate and exquisite atmosphere that you will remember and cherish for years to come.

Options are from just the one night stay through to the full Romantic Honeymoon package. Whatever your choice you can be sure that we will do everything possible to ensure that your honeymoon is romantic and relaxing.
